What camera can I use with Cam-Pod™? Cam-Pod™ comes in two sizes - regular or mini. Use the regular Cam-Pod™ for SLR or digital SLR cameras, video cameras. The Cam-Pod™ mini is designed to stabilise compact cameras and point & shoot cameras - it's so small, you can take it anywhere. Cam-Pod extends out to 360mm (14 inches) to protect and stabilise long lenses. Other camera bean bags are a fixed size and does not extend or compact like Cam-Pod. What is inside Cam-Pod™? Cam-Pod™ uses HDPE plastic fillings so you will have no problem with airport customs when traveling. Other camera beanbags may contain beans, rice, wheat, etc. Be careful of other similar camera bean bags which contain polystyrene foam (as used in large bean bag chairs). These are much lighter but does not provide enough support for your camera. When pressing the shutter, there is likely to be movement in camera body resulting in camera shake. The polystyrene foam will eventually collapse after prolonged use, rendering the camera bean bag useless. Some bean bags may also contain wheat, beans or rice which you may have trouble with customs when traveling. Cam-Pod contains granules made of polyethylene plastic and does not rot or decay.
